General information: ICMAA is a small unit based in the Netherlands - Europe. We work on a non-profit bases and therefor recognized as NGO. ICMAA is a division of AniMedics but will soon become a solitair organization. To set out a good strategy we have a very small basic team who will oversee all operations and do research. To give response to calls throughout the world we remain over a database that contains Veterinarian surgeons; nurses; drivers; pilots; aid workers and volunteers. As soon as a crisis situation comes up a disaster protocol will roll out and a call is being forwarded to every one within this database. By adding members from all over the world we can easily set a first team that is nearest to the disaster area. A few vehicles are owned by ICMAA whilst others are being leased when something comes up. This will keep the cost of operations to the point since we reside on donations and legacies. All units can be activated within 24 hrs after the initial call and can be in place and operational within 48 hours. Larger units can follow up within a week. To make sure that we can maintain this standard we made contracts with several third parties that provide vehicles and others who can ship them out. All units under one callcentre: ICMAA is devided in several teams, each team placed in a different country. To make all teams available through the same phonenumber we applied for a number provided by SKYPE . By calling our international UK phoneline, you are connected to one of the managers, where ever they are. All lines are dispatched to the cellphones at our cost. International personell database: ICMAA developed a database which contains all vets, nurses, aidworkers, volunteers and so on. We build the database in a way that we easily can put teams together with staff who lives nearby or possibly in the region where something might come up. This enables us to give fast response to any call we receive. Would you like to apply as volunteer? Please click here.
